Yeah that would be an issue if it would collapse on the car. We've been plowed in so many times its unreal. They plowed us in a lot as well and some days we just couldn't get it all out of the way so we couldn't go anywhere. Several times the street was so bad/unplowed we had to park on another street and walk home. Really? Thats unreal. The city didn't do anything about it? We live on a secondary road and we can go without being treated. When we got the 3-4ft of snow a few years ago, we were stuck inside for almost 3 days before we have plows come get us out, then when the next part of the storm hit, it was another 2 or so days. My walmart had so many empty shelves due to trucks being stranded.

My walmart had so many empty shelves due to trucks being stranded. We lived on a dead end so they didn't seem to think we needed to be plowed. Some days they'd plow and bury us in. Some days they wouldn't plow at all. We always made sure to stock up before a storm. We'd hear we were supposed to get a lot so we'd rush to the store and get anything we'd need for several days in case we couldn't get out. Ah I see. We lived at the top of the street at my old place, and they would push the snow in our yard. At one point it was over 7ft hight and you couldn't see over it, or outward to see if traffic was coming. We usually stock up, but in our situation there wasn't suppose to be a second storm, and it was last minute so our area was in a frenzy trying to get what they needed ebfore we got hit again.

I don't know how many feet we've had plowed in front of us but it was taller than all of us. The kids living on the street would all come down and play on the giant mound. We'd play King of the Mountain and push each other off the top. That would suck getting stuck without supplies. How many times did you win King of the Mountain? I have pics somewhere from my old place with how bad the snow was, I'll have to see if I can dig them up. It did.. The second storm crippled us as we couldnt get everything as the area was picked dry from the first storm 2 days before

It'd be awful. I'm uploading pics. I'll post them when they are finished.

That's ridiculous. Some snow is ok but more than a few inches and I wish for Spring. Of course when Summer comes and it's hot I wish for Winter. I dont mind a few inches.. but when we get that much, our area is at a standstill. Its rare for our area to be shutdown, but that storm did it. Emergency vehicles couldn't even get out.

Now, I live next to a fire station so if I couldn't get to a hospital during a bad storm I can get there for any possible help. I could accept the freezing cold if it just didn't snow as much. Your lucky living so close to some sort of emergency personal. I remember the news stations reporting that we were on our own. It was extremely crazy. Peoples roofs were caving in and all. It was interesting. We've had many days of -25+ temps.. its rare here but we got hit a lot this year with that. You guys suffer from extremely cold temps? Here is an old pic from 2010 during the storm. We got well over the 40+. This was updated later that evening if memory serves me right due to the storm stalling.

Yeah, we've had a lot of negative days. Down to the negative 40s. Right now it's 14 so that seems like Summer compared to -40. I don't remember the most we got at one time but 40 would be hell. Negative 40s is way to cold for me. We have been getting a few warmer days, a few days ago we got up to 50, then got a snow storm. it usually gets extremely warm before we get a big snow. We haven't gotten anything near that big ass snow since 2010.. but it was pure hell. It took weeks to clean up, then the flooding.... it was a mess.

I believe this is the warmest it's been in a while. I would have hated living through that. Oh wow.. I don't know if I could take the brutal coldness that long. Is the wind blowing adding to the coldness? The wind here is what makes it that cold. It was hell... pure hell. I hope to never deal with it again.

I hope to never deal with it again. The wind has been awful. Today, it's not windy so it's not as cold. But when it is windy, it gets very cold. I hope that never happens here. When the wind hits here.. its usually 20-25mph.. The one night it got up to 40 or so which makes it even more brutal. I dont know how you stand it dude.

I have a dog to take out and she's tiny so she hates this weather. She goes as quickly as she can and we rush inside. Your lucky there, my dog that died loved the outside, especially the snow.. The new puppy loves it outside.

Is it just me or do we have an absurd number of subforums? I don't see any reason why all the figure subs couldn't be combined or the entertainment sections can't be combined or absorbed here. There's clearly not enough traffic to warrant them all, and it's definitely the biggest first world problem of inconvenience to scroll all the way through them. It's not like the board would be cluttered by a few threads of nothing that barely get posted in in the first place. I feel a streamlining would help a little. As of now, it just feels like a weird copy of wfigs, which has a pretty cluttered main page too.

And I just moved to an area that has gotten more snow in the last two months than I've ever seen in my life. I hate it so much.

I just don't understand the point of so many subs. It just fractions everything up more than necessary. Then again, I only post on one other board these days other than reddit, and it's had everything all together for a decade with infinitely more traffic. Keeping everything together just seems so much nicer and inviting to discussion and posting than scrolling around to figure out where to post. The place never feels cluttered or hard to navigate. Everything about everything all together is so nice and easy to read and post from thread to thread, and has been for a decade. Idk maybe I just don't get it.
I hate the Internet.

I do feel the boards could be set up better. Again, not my forum to call the shots but I have am idea how to rearrange and bring it together to fit everyone. I'll discuss it with Kyle.
