So yeah, obligitory cell phone topic time. I'd be surprised if any of you don't have a phone. 7 year old todays have smartphones. Lol. And for a giggle, I'll post all the different ones I've used over the 11 years since my first one. This will be fuuunnnnnnn....guess I'll work backwards.
Let's start with my current phone. Just got this phone 2 days ago.
It's the LG Volt, on Boost Mobile. I really missed the Android OS, plus some issues arose with MetroPCS, I was less than happy over the last few days so I made a switch. This phone is great though, so far. It has nearly identical specs to that of the Samsung Galaxy S4, which I had at a time too. Be ready folks, I've had ALOT of phones.
Moving along. The Volt replaces this.
The Nokia Lumia 521, as mentioned I had this on MetroPCS. It is a Windows Phone - as if you couldn't tell. Used it for a month. Great value if you need a phone. A bit small for what I was used to. Only had a 5MP camera, no flash and no front camera so those three things kinda went against it. The reason I left Metro behind was, I must have gotten someone else's prior number, and I kept getting call after call and countless voicemails from so many Spanish folks, I lost count. I called Metro to change my number, they wanted to charge $50. Yes, $50. I even asked 3 times to make sure I heard correctly. I said no thanks. And moved along.
Prior to that,
Samsung Galaxy S4, on T-Mobile [and MetroPCS for a day.] Love the Galaxy line, love the Android OS, great phone. And at first, maybe it was new carrier attraction, but I loved what T-Mobile had to offer. At the time. Decent service, some spots of bad 2G, some spots of super fast 4G. Then I was looking at some no contract plans and thought "why am I paying soooo much when there's better service for half the price?"
The next will show the 4, yes FOUR phones I used when I was on the plan with my girlfriend and her friend for a little over a year.
Samsung Galaxy S3. I had the AT&T exclusive red color as pictured. This replaced my S2. I also used the Motorola Atrix and Atrix 2.
Galaxy S2, mine was black. Got this back after my girlfriend bought her S3.
Motorola Atrix 2. Replaced the Atrix when that phone crapped out.
Motorola Atrix. First phone I got on the plan with my girlfriend.
.....this is back to, we'll say, the beginning of 2012 since I used the S2 twice. I now realize how long it would take me to get pictures of every phone I've had for another 8 years back, so I'm just gonna list them back, no pics.
Apple iPhone 3GS with AT&T
Motorola Droid with Verizon
Blackberry Storm with Verizon
Samsung Rant with Sprint
LG Rumor with Sprint
LG VX8300, VZW
LG VX6100, VZW
LG VX8100, VZW
LG VX3100, VZW
Yeah that about covers it. 16 different models and just about every carrier out there lol. If you wanna post your phone, feel free. No need to post every phone you've had, unless you want to.
